This design is one of the most loved of Jacob Zook hex designs. It depicts a large, red "picture frame" heart proclaiming the house blessing. The decorative lettering reflects the influence of fancy early German writing called calligraphy. Colorful Distelfink birds and lush flowers surround the "home blessing" to ensure family happiness and good fortune.
